Robert Miles is an architect who operates a multi-disciplinary design practice.

Architecture is the main focus, but all forms of design are related, and inform one another. The brief is developed, research conducted, parameters set, ideas synthesised, and the work is resolved. All design involves the blending of scale, function, idea, and detail. Skilled design gets the balance right.

Projects successfully completed include houses, public buildings, apartments, restoration, and rebuilding projects.

In the field of graphic design, work includes award winning record and cd covers, posters, business identity branding, and merchandising. Long time involvement in the music industry has also led to stage and production design, examples of which are housed in the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, and the Performing Arts Museum in Melbourne.
